Hackney Art Week is a brand-new annual celebration of creativity, culture, and community, launching 12–22 June 2025. Spanning ten days and multiple neighbourhoods—including Hackney Central, Dalston, Stoke Newington, London Fields, Clapton, and De Beauvoir—the event brings together East London’s most exciting emerging artists, collectives, and local venues.

Hackney Art Week transforms galleries, pubs, cafes, and public spaces into vibrant hubs of artistic expression. Expect exhibitions, performances, screenings, talks, and workshops across venues like Wilton Way Gallery, The Clarence Tavern, On the Square, Fran’s, Mad Atelier, and more.

Highlights include installations, sound and movement pieces, experimental art crits, and pop-up performances—many hosted in unconventional spaces, from cosy pubs to hidden gardens. Artists such as YiMiao Shih, Laxmi, Olivia Twist, Katie King, and Shelley Lasica headline a dynamic programme designed to surprise, inspire, and spark conversation.

Whether you're an art lover, a curious local, or just passing through—Hackney Art Week invites you to explore, create, and connect.
